In addition to the Introductory Event of the Graduate Schools, we organize introduction sessions to the GSMS facilities for all (new) PhD students. We will highlight the practical procedures, the offered possibilities and the support we give. You will meet Sandra Zwart-Slagter, our PhD programme coordinator, and our own PhD counselor and confidential advisor Stella Noach. Of course there will be plenty of room to answer your questions!

Time: Online session on 26 May 9:30 - 11:00 h. Location: TEAMS link will be send one day before the meeting to your portal email address which is in 99% of the cases the RuG email address. Please check your portal email address here

PhD candidates can apply for a PhD card at the UG. This card can be requested upon appointment/login and after uploading a passport photo through the University card portal.
The University card is a chip card that you will need in order to use various UG services. You can read more about its functionality here.
